Communication - English <----> Chinese

• If you cannot speak Chinese, you are welcome to bring a translator with you, if they are available.
• If not, we will make a Translator available for you on a chargeable basis, as follows:
  (They have specific skills in the necessary medical terminology)
  A translator for the consultations and treatment-related issues will cost $US15 per day.
  This includes:
  
  • ~ Medical treatment/consultation translation
    ~ Any medical tests or examinations required outside the Clinic (Ultrasound and/or TCM therapy)
    ~ The Preparation of a treatment expense list and keeping treatment records
• A translator for any non-clinic-related work will cost $US10 a day extra to the medical translation fee of $US15
  This includes:
  • ~ Helping a patient to become familiar with the local Clinic area
  • ~ Banking - Foreign exchange, Cash withdrawals, T/C, etc
  • ~ Making a reservation for a Hotel or an Apartment
  • ~ The Required Registration with Xiangtan Police
  • ~ Shopping
  • ~ Sightseeing
  • ~ Restaurants, translation food list.
  • ... similar non-clinic related assistance

N.B....

• Translators cannot provide a diagnosis of any kind.  Any discussion between the patient and translator outside the consultation with the Doctor are not to be considered as having any relevance to the Clinic's work.
• Translation services apart from the treatment-related component will be based on the availability of the translators, and will be charged separately from the treatment translation.The translation service will be of the highest standard.
• If the patient at any time is not satisfied with such service, the patient should inform the Clinic at once and the situation will be rectified immediately.
