Most patients can be banded into three prostatitis status categories.

• 1 - A short-term Prostatitis case, typically someone who has had symptoms for less than one year, and is therefore not a complicated case.
• 2 - A Medium-term case, symptoms are more severe and the case is more complicated and harder to cure
• 3 - A long-term Chronic sufferer is someone who has typically had Prostatitis for more than 5 years.  Symptoms are severe, there are other issues relating to the long term taking of drugs, the patient is continually ill, depressed and desperate.
