How can PID be caused...

The morphology of the female genitalia predisposes easy infection of the inner organs causing pelvic inflammatory diseases. The following are common causes of pelvic inflammatory disease:

• The natural environment of the female urogenital system can easily be upset by many factors, including, the menstrual cycle, childbirth, operations, bad hygiene and unsafe sexual contact.
• Poor Standard of Doctor Care: being prescribed excessive antibiotics, usage of cortex hormones, gynaecological operations :  all these factors will decrease the patient's defensive ability, and can lead to pelvic inflammatory diseases.
• Sexual practises: Numerous sexual partners, absence of condoms, and being in unhygienic situations generally can lead to Inflammatory disease
• Other causitive factors: Tuberculosis, Appendicitis, Operations, Adenomyosis, Gynecologic Oncoma amongst other things will cause pelvic inflammatory diseases also.
